About Us

Although Anjar Chocolatier emerged from my entrepreneurial spirit, my love for chocolate has deeper roots. In 1929, my great-grandfather, a German immigrant to Brazil, founded a candy business that thrived in our family for over 70 years, and is still in operation today. With chocolate in my blood, I dedicated myself to mastering the craft. After graduating from Indiana University, I decided to further my passion by studying French Chocolate and Confectionary Arts at Ecole Ducasse. This journey led me to found Anjar Chocolatier, where we use ethically sourced, high-quality ingredients to offer our customers a unique chocolate experience, honoring my Brazilian, German, and Lebanese heritage through our name, flavors, and techniques.
